Dr. Harjot Singh is a Neuropsychiatrist and General Physician in Amritsar and has an experience of 17 years in these fields. Dr. Harjot Singh practices at Dr. Harjot Singh's Neuropsychiatry Clinic in Amritsar. He completed MBBS from Baba Farid University of Health sciences in 2004 and MD - Neuropsychiatry from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar (Punjab, India) in 2009. He is a member of Indian Psychiatric Society and Indian Association of Private Psychiatry. Some of the services provided by him are: Marriage/ Marital Counseling, Anger Management, Violent patient management, De-addiction & Counseling for drug dependence, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Treatment and Suicidal Behavior etc.

Dr. Harjot Singh Makkar is a renowned and dedicated psychiatrist pursuing a social course. He has dealt with thousands of patients suffering from Drug Addiction, Depression, Tension and Stress treating them with utmost care & commitment. He has treated people having Marital Conflicts, frustrations, anger and child psychiatric problems like Autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Stammering and Stuttering, other speech problems and Mental Retardation.   • Organized Seminars regarding Neuropsychiatric Disorders & Addiction to various forums of doctors sensitizing them about destigmatizing the society of these evils; About 300 such seminars have been organized till now.
  • Plantation Drive started with motive of planting 12000 trees in various areas of Amritsar.
  • Written articles for the Newspaper column for the purpose of spreading awareness in the society on various mental health disorders and issues
